1. Overview

This Warranty describes what Kiin Innovation commits to regarding the performance, accuracy, and availability of SAWABOOK ("the Service"), and what remedies are available to Customer if the Service does not meet these commitments. This Warranty forms part of, and should be read together with, the SAWABOOK Terms of Service and, where applicable, the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

This is a contractual warranty. Where Customer is a consumer under applicable Rwandan consumer protection law, nothing in this Warranty limits statutory rights that cannot be lawfully excluded.

2. What We Warrant

During the active Subscription Term, Kiin Innovation warrants that:

2.1 Conformity to Documentation The Service will perform materially in accordance with its published Documentation, including its core functions: sales and customer management, point-of-sale processing, purchases and supplier tracking, expense logging, inventory management, payroll processing, financial reporting, and VAT/tax configuration.

2.2 Financial Accuracy Calculations performed by the Service (including VAT computation, payroll deductions, balance sheets, and trial balances) will be accurate based on the data and configuration Customer inputs. This warranty does not extend to errors caused by incorrect data entry, misconfigured tax rules, or Customer's own accounting decisions.

2.3 Regulatory Compliance Features Where the Service represents compliance with Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) requirements; including VAT configuration and EBM (Electronic Billing Machine) receipt generation, Kiin Innovation warrants that these features are built and maintained to align with current RRA technical requirements as of the date of use. Customer remains responsible for correct configuration and for their own regulatory filings.

2.4 Security & Updates Kiin Innovation will maintain the Service with necessary security patches and updates for the duration of the Subscription Term, consistent with prevailing SaaS industry practice.

2.5 Service Availability Availability commitments (uptime percentage, planned maintenance windows, and service credit remedies for downtime) are defined separately in the SAWABOOK Service Level Agreement, which is incorporated by reference.

  2. Reduce cost: Provide a proportionate service credit or price reduction for the affected period; or

  3. Refund and terminate: Where the defect cannot reasonably be resolved, allow Customer to terminate the affected subscription and receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid, unused fees.

Reported issues should be submitted to support@kiin.rw.with sufficient detail (module affected, steps to reproduce, screenshots/exports if applicable) to allow investigation.
